Los autores afirman que la m\u00e1quina \u00abpuede construirse en el corto plazo\u00bb usando \u00abcomponentes de hardware que ya fueron demostrados experimentalmente\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Los c\u00fabits f\u00edsicos, al operarlos, cometen errores por su naturaleza fr\u00e1gil. La soluci\u00f3n es agrupar varios c\u00fabits f\u00edsicos para que detecten y corrijan mutuamente esos errores. El conjunto resultante es un c\u00fabit l\u00f3gico, la unidad realmente \u00fatil para ejecutar c\u00e1lculos confiables.<\/p>\n<p>Un est\u00e1ndar de la industria asum\u00eda hasta ahora que se necesitaban entre 100 y 1.000 c\u00fabits f\u00edsicos por cada c\u00fabit l\u00f3gico funcional. Seg\u00fan el paper de IonQ, su nueva arquitectura reduce esa proporci\u00f3n a aproximadamente 23 a 1.<\/p>\n<p>Conforme al paper de IonQ, el sistema se apoya en c\u00f3digos conocidos como \u2018qLDPC\u2019, un enfoque de correcci\u00f3n de errores cu\u00e1nticos, y en \u00abf\u00e1bricas de estados de gato\u00bb, que son estados cu\u00e1nticos que act\u00faan como sondas para detectar errores sin interrumpir el c\u00e1lculo principal.<\/p>\n<p>La arquitectura es modular y escala a\u00f1adiendo zonas especializadas en lugar de a\u00f1adir conexiones.
